# OPN Fuel Utilities

Ticketing integrators that use OPEN’s ticketing infrastructure are required to top up [$OPN](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24OPN\&src=cashtag_click) from the open market to pay and fuel the tickets they sell for their events. Attendees don't need to know about crypto, they pay in their local FIAT currency & [$OPN](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24OPN\&src=cashtag_click) fuel flows behind the scenes - just like magic.

Ticketeers top up OPN either through an invoice handled by the OPEN team which is then topped up manually by us, or for crypto savvy integrators, OPN can be purchased and topped up directly - each integrator has their own wallet address which tracks OPN fuel topped up and used.

The base fee for each onchain ticket is $0.03 which flows to the DAO and stakers, additional revenue is accrued depending on the level of infrastructure the integrator users, with the maximum fees associated to those using our full suite of infrastructure, which typically comes down to a 0.X% accruing as fees (e.g 0.3% of a ticket's face value in OPN) for stakers, the DAO and ecosystem treasury.

When attendees scan their tickets, [$OPN](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24OPN\&src=cashtag_click) flows to the DAO, ecosystem treasury & token holders through our staking system. By staking [$OPN](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24OPN\&src=cashtag_click), you’ll receive real world yield with zero inflation, the more tickets sold, the more yield for stakers.

We believe in the power of onchain flywheels where any participant around the world, whether builder, organiser, big thinker or degen can participate and earn from tickets issued through OPEN. With the power to bring the $86 billion ticketing industry onchain, and issue millions of tickets around the world each year, [$OPN](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24OPN\&src=cashtag_click) is at the core of all activity.
